Dr. Maya Schneider, Founder, Chairperson, and CTO
Dr. Schneider (M.D., D.M.D.) majored in both medicine and dental surgery at Tel Aviv University. After partially specializing in ophthalmology at Meir Medical Center, Dr. Schneider later went on to specialize in dental surgery. She spent 20 years in the field, taking a unique holistic approach to running her private office. For two decades, Dr. Schneider has been researching treatment for various mouth ulcers, focusing on those caused by Oral Mucositis (OM) and Recurrent Aphthous Stomatitis (RAS or canker sores). Dr. Schneider is the inventor of SMS Drug Delivery Systems™ and the holder of additional patents. |
