Maya-Biotech is committed to increasing the efficacy and ease of use of self-medication drugs. Our vision is to promote conscious healing through the development of self-administered drugs that enable the patient to participate in making his or her own medication, promoting their active participation in recovery. To that end, we have developed an innovative drug delivery system, SMS Kit™, patented worldwide, which enables patients to easily self-medicate, anywhere at anytime. In just three simple steps, using finger pressure to Smash, Mix, and Squeeze (SMS), the pre-dosed, potent, and safe medication is ready to be used. The medication is enhanced by water and minerals.
Our commitment to bringing effective new products to market is evidenced by the number of products currently under development and in the pipeline, including SMS kits for Oral Mucositis (OM), Alimentary Mucositis (AM), Recurrent Aphthous Stomatitis (RAS), as well as kits for disposable, pre-dosed antibiotics (AntibiotiKit™) and others for fast buccal absorption and topical administration.
As part of our commitment, we seek partners to co-develop innovative products. Maya-Biotech has formed a partnership with Anadis, an Australian biotech company, to co-develop AM-Kit™. The kit will provide a combined treatment for Alimentary Mucositis (AM), the extended severe adverse reaction affecting cancer patients going through chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Maya-Biotech has a strong commitment to the environment and is taking a green approach to drug production. As such, our vision is to utilize biodegradable plastics and recycling systems for our products.
